Jury duty can be a pain so it is important to find ways to get out of it. You probably will first get a notice in the mail that you need to serve to make sure that you read the notice thoroughly. Usually it will stay where you need to go and what time you need to be there. There will also be information available if you cannot go to jury duty.

Remember the even though you may have to show up for jury duty this does not mean it on a trial. If you are not selected then you have done your duty and you do not have to worry about missing a lot of work in losing money. If you think you may be a good candidate to be selected then you may want to come up with a good excuse to get out of jury duty.
